Join us to welcome Marshall native, Laurie Hellmann, on the release of her second book!
Laurie will be at Northfield from 10am to 2pm to sign books and again at 7pm for a FREE presentation and discussion on her journey from childhood to raising her special needs child, Skyler.

This honest, emotional story about parenthood highlights that everything experienced throughout adolescence shapes us into the mothers and fathers we become and ultimately who our children need us to be.

In Laurie's words "I've realized along the autism parenting journey that perhaps my dysfunctional childhood perfectly prepared me for what life needs of me now - to be patient, strong and resilient."

Laurie will have both her books for sale at the event.
